Part of the monthly music series at Sam Ash hosted by Matt LaVelle in coordination with the Festival of New Trumpet Music:
This FONT workshop at Sam Ash will be an open reading session of music for trumpet ensemble. The repertoire will include music by Karlheinz Stockhausen, Mauricio Kagel, Harrison Birtwistle, Charles Wuorinen, Brandon Ridenour, Henry Brant, Carl Ruggles, Elliott Carter, Joan Tower, Giuseppe Verdi, George Crumb and others. Composers are also invited to come with sketches or finished pieces for any number of trumpets.
All levels of experience are welcome. Bring your horns and have fun!
