The Duke Street Brass will be performing at St. John's Evangelical Lutheran Church on Sunday, September 16th 2012 at 3 pm! Our program is an exciting array of brass arrangements enjoyed by all ages! Bring your family and come see a show sure to entertain!
The Duke Street Brass, founded in the fall of 2009, has continuously strived to entertain audiences and aims to educate young musicians about the benefits of chamber music. The ensemble is based in Lancaster, PA and consists of music students at Millersville University in Pennsylvania. The quintet has had the privilege of performing in prestigious venues such as The Curtis Institute of Music where they attended The RMPBB Brass Seminar and The Peabody Conservatory. The group has been featured in master-classes with The Rodney Mack Philadelphia Big Brass, Manhattan Brass, Canadian Brass, Boston Brass and the legendary Wynton Marsalis.
