My guess would be Vincent Bach is playing on a Holton cornet. Bach was close with Frank Holton and Holton made pieces for Bach in the beginning.

Dave,
All's quiet at the Alma Mater but the band hits the field next week for basic.
Prof. Schickele hasn't been the same since the flashing incident but he is getting his chops back and should be back in the classroom soon.
Cheers,

Didn't Mr. Strogenbach also compose some music for cornet? Do any TH members have a copy? I have no idea which name he used on the music. _________________ Felton (Butch) Bohannon

Vincent Bach owned and used an English Besson around that time. He made many experimental leadpipes and mouthpieces for it. Can't say if that's what he used on the recording though. _________________ NY and Mt. Vernon Bach trumpets. Monette and Hammond mouthpieces. Fender and Peavey Cirrus Bass Guitars. Ampeg amps.
