Torpedo Bag Classic – Review
Every once in a while you discover a product and your first thought is – now someone is really using their noggin!
I just received my Torpedo Bag Classic and have loaded it up with trumpet and related accessories.
The Torpedo Bag Classic is without question, a world-class solution for transporting your valuable trumpet and related essentials. This is THE REAL DEAL folks! The design, materials and workmanship appear to be absolutely first rate. This is a compact, highly functional, extremely rugged, professional looking, industrial strength trumpet case. There are two detachable accessory pouches - one for your mutes, maintenance kit, rags, toiletry kit? and the other larger compartment is for music books, sheet music files, a clean T-shirt?. There are also fold-away back straps so you can carry your trumpet backpack style freeing both hands for luggage or other stuff. There is also a nice size padded storage compartment within the lid for mouthpieces and/or whatever you feel like storing – clean sox maybe?
The trumpet fits as snug as a bug in a rug, smothered in ultra soft, thick and cushy yet supportive padding – surrounded by the hard shell case covered with durable nylon and complimented by the heavy gauge zippers, nylon strapping and connectors / shoulder strap adjustors.
My compliments to the inventor as it is more than obvious that he has put a tremendous amount of thought and effort into developing this excellent product. I am certain that Torpedo Bags will become a “must have” for serious trumpeters. _________________ I rode in on a horse and can't seem to get out of L.A.

Yup. what he said. Just got mine in from Dillons yesterday. Very very nice. I understand Dillon's probably has about ten left so get it now. I understand they may be hard to get for August. _________________ Praise him with the sound of the trumpet! Ps. 150:3

These are the 2010 redesigned cases (I can tell from the description). They are pretty sweet--I'll get a new video, description, and pix up in a few weeks.
These were made in my basement! We're gonna run out, but the wait won't be too terrible, more done end of Augustish? We have a ton of Coyotes in the works, and can't quit them until they're done. Then, more Classics. _________________ Steve Kriesel

Let's just say I'm not the player I used to be (not that that was anything to write home about to begin with!). Just finished hosting a trumpet camp this week, too. Fun. _________________ Steve Kriesel

Yup. Got the mould a few days ago. Now I just need to go to Mark Adler's house and see if his Kanstul fits, make a prototype, and then a short production run. The mould was the hard part. _________________ Steve Kriesel
