GHP BRASS, a rep for Callet Trumpets, will be a vendor at the upcoming Trumpet Festival of the Southeast. The Festival takes place this weekend at the University of Alabama in Tuscaloosa. You can visit this link to learn more about it:

I will have the SIMA Bb, C, and Eb/D on display. Please drop by to introduce yourself and to test these amazing horns. Thanks! --Ken Barnes, GHP BRASS

I had a chance to play the Simas at the Festival and they played great. They are very efficient horns with a quick response and a great sound.

I would just like to take this opportunity to thank Ken Barnes of GHP Brass for discussing TCE with myself and my son at the STF this past weekend in Tuscaloosa Alabama. He cleared up alot of questions I had about TCE. After applying the tips he gave I've made more progress in three days than I had made in 3 months of struggle. It's funny how a 40 minute unofficial lesson with a real person lifts the clouds on misinformation. Once again I would like to thank Ken Barnes for the help. Charles and Chase

Hello Charles, in relation to what Ken showed you recently what can you say of my playing on the video on the other thread? Right track or what?
thanks, Luca

Luca you sound great on the videos. Where did you get your slide trumpet and what does one cost (if you don't mind me asking). Charles

Charles, Slide Trumpet is a Getzen Model from the '60, modified. I just got another original one on ebay for 200usd. My modified trumpet is actually a 7 positions slide on which you can fit any Bb trumpet standard bell. I can have a good professional slide made by Rath Trombones in the UK for 675 English Pounds. Let me know if you are interested and I'll ad your order to mine.
Thanks,
Luca
