Doing fine. Tornado sirens went off all day Friday, but they all passed either north or south of where I live. Some of the houses that had just been rebuilt from the April tornados last year were hit again. I think I'd find a new lot to build on. _________________ Olde Towne Brass

Glad to know you and yours are OK, Dale. Sure feel bad for my Hoosier brethren down along the river. Did you see the story about the 2 year old girl found in a field?

We had some high wind and heavy rain, but that was about it. We were lucky this time. We had one go across south Clinton a few months ago that did a lot of damage, but no fatalities. I saw one video of a car going south across a bridge over I 20 and the tornado was about one block east going north. I can imagine how that driver felt.
We have one of the highest incidences of tornados than any state but about one or two. I have lived here for most of my life and I haven't seen but one- and that was across a swamp north of Laplace, LA. Just lucky, I guess |

The damage line in Indiana was mostly in the first 30 miles north of the Ohio River. Bloomington (IU Music School), Nashville, Columbus (my birthplace) and Cope were outside the area.
I think they are going to rename the little girl "Dorothy."

It has been so warm in Toronto. I think this is the first year that I have seen that there has been no snow lasting more than 24 hours on the ground. What a strange year. _________________ I am NOT a Contrarian!

No, I didn't see that report. I watched all the local tornado news, but not the national. _________________ Olde Towne Brass

Sadly, she ultimately died and was buried in Indiana. |
