Hello all,
I am a comeback player, took off for 17 years and started back up about 2 years ago. I spend much of my time on TM, so I was suprised I had not posted before on TH. Anyways, since I made the other post today, I thought it was only right to actually introduce myself here as well. I live and work in NYC, and on the side I teach foster kids how to play trumpet and trombone. I like long walks on the beach and cats over dogs, although a good dog will trump a cat any day. I started collecting trumpets a few years ago, and I am working on that N +1 issue, as is my wife. |

Darten,
TH has been a good place for this comeback-er to learn and interact with other trumpeters. I hope you find it so. We probably have several things in common, but one is for sure: Arban's...Arban's...Arban's... I do mix it up with some tunes from an age/skill-level appropriate book of trumpet arrangements.
