OK, now I guess I've seen everything:

Offered on ebay by mouthpieceexpress, http://www.ebay.com/itm/Bach-1-1-2C-Lord-of-The-Rings-Gold-Trumpet-Mouthpiece-/180860009535?pt=Brass_Instruments&hash=item2a1c18bc3f

They also have one in 3C!

"My Precious! O my Precious!"

LOL!

I know - that's cool, isn't it??

I want to get one for my son but mouthpiece express (the seller of this engraving) doesn't sell Hammond pieces... Maybe some day they will.

I wonder if you sent the mpc to them if they'd engrave it. Probably.

Not sure, but you might be able to mail in your own piece for them to engrave.

Nothing new here. How many time have you fracked a note and blamed it on the elfin mouthpiece?

From all I've read, M. Express is sort of iffy involving special orders. They are best on things they have in stock.

It is possible that they would order a piece from Hammond themselves ... oh boy, that wouldn't be cheap. But it is the One, the ultimate mouthpiece! Priceless!

I have the "original"
It's a Marcienkiewiz proline concerthall b5 with gold rim and cup,
And of course the engraving from the one ring.
Custom order from mouthpiece express.
Got it march 2011.
A couple of months later the 3C's were on ebay.

This is at least the third thread started on these (I think I started one of them a year a so or ago). They appear on E-bay constantly.

I find it hard to believe they sell enough to keep making more. But then, I find a lot of things hard to believe these days.

Shouldn't it be engraved inside the cup?

Actually, I think it's the same ones. They want $100+ for them, so they just keep getting relisted. I had it on my Ebay watch list for quite a while (for kicks) and it'd just get relisted.
