Hello everyone.

I need to take out some loans. Badly.

Can any of you guys suggest where I can find a place that I can find loans, when I have about zero income?

I guess you're going to school.

They are probably the best people to talk to, since they'll have access to your financial profile, and can give you the complete picture of federal, state, or private loans (or grants?) that you qualify for.

It depends on where you are in the educational ladder, though (entering, continuing, auditioning, etc.)

Fill out the FAFSA (Free Application for Federal Student Aid). You can pick one up at the Financial Aid office for your school. You can also speak to a counselor there about your options.

I took out my loan through Bank One, it was easy to get and stuff, I had to use a co-signer though. They were a lot easier to deal with then SallieMae which asked to do a lot of ridiculous things. Of course if you ever get that deep in financial troubles you could always sell your horns....what...who said that?!?!?!? Good Luck!

Federal loans are a little different because the government won't make you pay back your loans if you are experiencing financial hardship.

Keep in mind once you are out of school for a couple of months it's time to pay back Mr. Stafford and then the party is over big time!

Exactly 6 months after graduation. Shouldnt you know this type of stuff. You won't have to back if you go str8 into grad school. And I think once you do have to pay it, you have certain type of plans on what you wanna pay back each month

Education costs are often not always in the per month funds while the child was growing up. Some education records simply may not have enough money in order to fulfill all of the past or present student's needs. Loans are a good way to make sure that education costs can be compensated. Pupil education loans can be used for college programs, business educational institutions, and document programs that help learners find gainful career that will pay far above lowest salary. Here are a few tips on how to get student loans for mother and father with bad credit.

Wow!

A thread I started back 7 years ago! I wish I could chat with myself 7 years ago and offer some advice ...

Dear Max,

Don't go into debt for anything unless it's a dire emergency or a very sound/secure investment.

Sincerely,

Older You

Aren't you now employed in your chosen field? Don't you consider that to have been a good investment?

Not trying to stir up trouble or dredge up the past but your perceived tone is, to me, one of regret.

So you're saying they expect to get that money back? I thought they meant "loan".

As there are so many students trying to get a loan, then you may be delayed by a few days or even a few months, which means you may not have any money whilst you are in uni! This may result in a few hard months for you without the income you need to live! This has resulted in many stressful problems for current or past students who have had this problem.
