| On average, how much time do you work on the piano (voicings, comping, work on tunes etc.)? |

30 minutes to an hour and the John Thompson Easiest Piano Course is what I am using as I'm self teaching. _________________ 2011 Getzen 907 Proteus Bb

Probably 30 minutes a day. 5 minutes at at time during chop breaks. _________________ Bach trumpet artist-clinician

When I have access to a piano at least an hour a day. I try to work through a blues in each key everyday and run the basic scales and ii-V's through with a particular voicing each day. When working on tunes, I'll try (not very coordinated) and walk a bass line and play a right hand voicing. usually its just the left then the right, then pray the two understand that they can work together and put them together. Brings back tasty memories of Ear Training sing and plays... _________________ Kendall

Anywhere between 30 minutes and 3 hours. I've got to make efficient use of studio time in a couple weeks, so I'm pounding tunes several hours each day at the moment. (as a pianist) _________________ High Brass by Eclipse, Selmer, Olds, B&H, Conn

I use piano a couple times a week mainly as a tool for working out charts and a little personal ear training as well as some with students. No fixed schedule. _________________ Bill Siegfried
