I have a K-Modified 24B Selmer which I like a lot but would like to get a new
(heavier) set of valve springs. Mine are either worn or are just plain too light. I like a little resistance in my valves. Anyone know where I can get a set of springs to fit the horn?

You could try either Yamaha or Benge, any shop that deals with Allied Supply may have them. Trouble is that the Selmer spring barrel is shorter than most other maker's and the spring should be a little shorter as well. Stock Selmer springs are very light in tension, not sure where those could even be had these days, maybe Conn-Selmer?

Last poster is correct. Yamaha work well. I have a K-Mod trumpet and cornet in which I have used Yamaha springs with great success.

Thanks Greg: I'll get and order in for the Yamaha springs.
