Hello everyone!
I found a Martin Indiana (for a pretty low price) in a good state, just has a couple of dents here and there, the valves are good and all the slides moves. It will surely need some repairs, but the price is low so i'm okay with it. My question was, is it a good horn, I understand its not a Strad or a Committee, but it must be somewhat good?
Adam

Your English is very good, Adam.
The Indiana is a very good horn. Some examples are better than others. Obviously, most have been played a lot.
There are rare models. I have several; including a large-bore and a couple small-bores.
I suggest you stay with the horn for a while. Become familiar with how it plays, and melds with your own style-of-play.
You may like it. Later, a transition to a Committee or a Magna would be appropriate.

You are welcome, Adam.
I wish you well on your "sojourn". Your Martin Indiana should serve you well.

Thanks, Kevin. Doing better (it could ALWAYS be worse ... although, sometimes I wonder).
Hope you are doing well, also.
And ... YES -- still a "Committee man" and a "Blessing Super Artist man". A few others (horns) have caught my fancy, along the way. Amazing what is "out there". Some speculation ... driven by hunches ... and, some plain 'ole LUCK. Shying away from purely jazz-oriented horns opens up a lot of options.

bonjour, Adam
What's the serial number of your Indiana? Some of them are better than others, imo. I have a trumpet and a cornet, both of which are great players. I don't exactly when they were made but I guess late 1940s.
