Where are you playing it and with what band or orchestra? Are you playing it complete or with cuts?

At the Masterworks festival we played it on Saturday in an outdoor pops concert. It was a blast (in the case of this particular brass section, sadly the cannon was not real though....)


We took a cut.


The brass came in on the chorale and the conductor stepped back in surprise!

Yes, right before the Fireworks in the evening, at Greenbelt Lake, MD with the Greenbelt Concert Band. We used to play the entirety but this year a shortened rendition.

Played last night in Zion Illinois. The Full Score Chamber Orchestra. With cuts. We started at rehearsal C played D cut to rehearsal F.

I admit to having the First Trumpet part and just totally splatting 2 bars in the chorale.
