Does anyone have or know where to get the solo cornet/trumpet part for:

Kenneth Downie: Trumpet Call

Any help would be appreciated, thanks

No one has played/heard of this? It's on the Phil Smith CD; My Song of Songs. It's also the title track of Tom Hooten's CD; Trumpet Call.

Does anyone know a way to get the part without purchasing the $100 book from the Salvation Army website?

If I remember correctly it is available only in a solo compilation in the Salvation Army catalog for the American Festival Series

Actually, what you probably want is the "Cornet Solos Album" (piano accompaniments rather than full band), which is available for only $38.95 at:

It also contains, among other things, the piano reduction for BIll Himes' gorgeous arrangement of "I'd Rather Have Jesus", one of my favorites.
