Does anyone use Soundwear cornet case for a long cornet? Do long cornets fit inside?

Also, those of you that use the Soundwear for a short cornet: is there enough place left for a long cornet in your opinion?

Thanks!

Hmm, no reponses yet.

Unfortunately I can't answer your questions either, but if you'd send the measurements (i.e. length) of your cornet to Soundwear I'm pretty sure they would be kind enough to help you out:

Some time ago I had a similar question on a trombone case and they responded aptly and quikly.

FWIW,
I own a Soundwear Professional single trumpet case with which I'm very happy.

Good luck!

Please contact the Soundwear people about your question.
They are very quick to respond and very helpful.

I have a trumpet case by them and it is quite excellent. Very protective and has a variety of storage compartments. Not the lightest case but I prefer it to many other lighter ones due to its protectiveness.

It particularly has an extra thick bell padded area that I like.

FWIW I use the trumpet case with my long and short model cornets by using a Denis Wick regular sized practice mute in the bell when I place the horn in.

Thanks for your replies. It was quite urgent, and waiting for the company to reply to my mail was not possible.

I got the case, and a long Kanstul cornet fits in more than fine. I got the Performer version, and I am surprised how protective it is. I wouldn't check my horn in in this case, but for the usual stuff (minus sitting on it) it should be more than fine.
