I found this on Schilke facebook page :
” Chris Botti performing with JP during his recent concert in the Philippines. So impressed with his virtuosity, Chris arranged to get a new Schilke trumpet for this young man!”
That's very nice from Chris Botti a true gentleman.
Now folks, I can't compare myself with Chris Botti but in the last few days I was thinking alot about that, I have in my closet a very nice like new xstream trumpet that I want to give away to somebody. If you know a very poor student who doesn't have a decent horn send me a pm so we can arrange to shipp the trumpet, or if you live in the Phoenix area you're welcome to pick up the horn.
Please don't ask me to many questions about that , I am not looking for popularity or other things. |

Jimmy; Congrats on your decision to help a needy student. I enjoyed reading your original post last evening and while I don't teach or know of any needy students at the moment I still enjoyed thinking of your actions.
My mother used to say, "Virtue is its own reward." Best wishes for your kindness. _________________ Jonathan Milam
