On Friday July 27, 8:30pm ET Brazilian pianist Nelson Freire is the soloist in Mozart's Piano Concerto No. 20 and Villa-Lobos's Momoprecoce, conducted by fellow Brazilian Marcelo Lehninger, who also leads the BSO in Mussorgsky's Pictures at an Exhibition.
BSO broadcast producer Brian Bell's guided tour to Mussorgsky's Pictures at an Exhibition
On Saturday, July 28 8:30pm ET mezzo-soprano Susan Graham sings in Berlioz's La Damnation de Faust, with baritone Willard White and bass-baritone Christopher Felgum, conducted by Charles Dutoit.
On Sunday July 29 ET Charles Dutoit conducts the BSO in Beethoven's Piano Concerto No. 3, with soloist Emanuel Ax, and Tchaikovsky's Symphony No. 5. |
