I'm 55 years old, started playing my father's trumpet about 6-8 months ago, progressing well. My father is 88 years old; he just told me that he played cherry berry bin, at a solo recital, when he was 15. I wanted to find the sheet music for this song, to play it for him, when I see him next month. I can't find it anywhere, can anyone help me with this. Thanks.

You're probably looking for Ciribiribin, not "Cherry Berry Bin".

Ciribiribin is one of Harry James signature solo pieces. You can find the big band arrangement "As Performed By Harry James" on ejazzlines.com.

Have fun!

Hi Chuck!

I think what you want is the music to "Ciribiribin", a song made famous and recorded several times by the great Harry James.

Enter that in your Google search. Bet you come up with several thousand hits.

Good Luck!

Thank you both for your help. Now I know why I couldn't find it; having the correct name helps a little. Thanks again,

Would you be interested in only the Harry James turmpet part for "Ciribiribin"? The whole big-band arrangement?

Just the trumpet part; the least complicated, the better. As I explained, I'm new to music. I appreciate any help you can provide, as I would really like to be able to play this for my father. Thanks.
