I want to post an Mp3 clip onto trumpet herald for some other posters to evaluate my playing. Is there any way to do this?

Nope. You have to host it on another site and provide a link.

At risk of creating a Kirkian-length post, you could uuencode a few seconds of the mp3 file as plain text. I do not believe anyone would spend the effort to uudecode it back to mp3, though.

1. Create a free account on SoundCloud.
2. Upload the MP3 to SoundCloud.
3. Post the link to the SoundCloud entry here.
