I was keeping an eye out for a decently priced Martin Committee for some time. Then I started reading about this bad boy. I started looking online and found one available at the local music store. So I picked up a brand new HC2 - the one with the copper bell. I love this guy! The sound is much warmer than I got from my old trumpet.
So my question is how much does it play like a committee? |

There will be many opinions on this one... some have said very similar, and some have said not so much.
For me personally out of the two that I have played neither screamed "Committee" to me. Both very nice horns but neither truly reminded me of a Committee.
Now my Adams A9 on the other hand... _________________ Adams Gold Brass/Nickel Flugel

Wallace Roney likes his HC2 pretty well, and he's pretty much an expert on Martin Committee trumpets. Great sound and response without the pitch issues of the Elkhart Martin Committees. _________________ James Becker
