As opposed to the SC1, the 1* is the smaller diameter SC piece, close to Bach 17 size according to Jerry and has been discontinued. Anyone have one they would be willing to part with? Please PM me if so, thanks! |

And anyone have experience with how this piece plays? I am generally on smaller diameter pieces these days but I my try an SC3 or SC3S if I can't find an SC1*. |

I bought a SC 1* a few years ago from Jerry (possibly one of the last ones he had) when I was playing a lot of lead. It worked well for me, with a tight focused sound that cuts, and easy to play as long as the music stayed above a G on the staff. It is a tiny mouthpiece (compared to my everyday mp), but it has a big, fat, cushiony rim, which keeps everything comfortable. |
