Hi guys,
just got a call for a little gig for Christmas time. I will play about 10 tunes alone with some jazz style playalongs as backups.
So here's the reason of this post: I already have most of the playalongs, but I'd like to get some suggestions for 2 tunes, first it's ''What a wonderful world'' and the second one is ''Smile'' from Charlie Chaplin.
I wish you'll help me to find some good stuff. If you know some short versions, I mean without 40 000 more bars for improvisation practise, you see....
Oh, and last but not least, no problem at all if the recordings are not free
Thanks in advance guys for your help !!!!!

The karaoke stuff on Spotify has a lot
of backing stuff. I know that Chaplin's "Smile"
is represented in at last 3-4 tracks _________________ Nordlands

Hey, thanks, Joe! My sound on flugel is a work in progress! Not quite where I want it yet, but working on it! Trying mouthpieces now. Used a Wick 4F over the weekend. That piece is going to take some practicing to get used to!
Anyway, I bought that Nature Boy track a few years ago from a karaoke website. I can't remember which one but I think it was the first website that came up when I was searching google. Sorry I can't be of much more help. There are a lot of sites out there though. _________________ Dave M
