"Oh the humanity..."

Phil's a great player, but I think most people will this particular interpretation of Handel's music to be aurally noisome.

Shoot, I thought I was going to hear Phil Smith before I went to the link.

Phil Driscoll is something else ... not my cup of tea but he seems to do well what he does. I just don't like it much myself but I suppose some do and there's nothing wrong with that.

Wow -- if you listen to this, don't bail until you've heard the final 7 secs. That little bit on the end starting at about 4:16 leaves me speechless.

I think Handel would have liked his hair.

The entire clip "leaves me speechless." IMO the last few seconds don't redeem it in any way. I question anyone's taste (and sanity) who admires anything about this clip.

I'm thinking more Joe Cocker - same for the stage mannerisms.

Redeem? What I meant was that those last few seconds were so tasteless that they destroyed any possible chance that there might be some redeeming value here.

He gets paid to play and I (usually) don't so who am I to judge?

When did Stephen Wright bleach his hair? It MUST be the comedian because this is a joke.

We shall be changed.....

Ahem;... think I will pass this time, Phil, thank 'ee all the same... He worked so hard on that piece, shame how it turned out.

But on a positive note, those four meaningful words are heard often in hallways of the local nursing home around bedtime...

Love the hair.. Thanks for the post!
