While I unfortunately don't own one, I've tried the Najoom straight mutes and really liked them. If you have the opportunity, I would try those. That will probably be my next straight mute purchase.

Copper bottom Wick for me. I used to use the copper bottom JoRal but I couldn't keep the corks on it.

Personally the Charles Davis copper bottom is one the most responsive and best sounding mutes I've ever played.

Has anyone tried the Mutec Straights with the copper bottom? Just picked one up and going to check it out.
