Hi guys,

I just got a very nice Besson Breveté trumpet. I LOVE it.

Serial number is 101149; I'm a bit confused about the s.n. lists and I'd appreciate if someone could help me to find the year of manufacture and if the horn was made in France or in England.

I dion't know if it helps, but it has a distinctive and non usual trigger on 1st slide.

Thanks for your help, JoJoCat

1960's, and most likely assembled in England, even if it says Paris on it.

Does it means it's lowest quality if assembled in England?

There was an ebay auction with a similar horn not long ago, where the UK based seller cited B&H factory books that he had checked himself, which talked about these horns as assembled in France event though they had the British Microbor valve block...
