who are the best/most successful Jacobs "song and wind" teachers today? His teaching has already transformed my playing, but I'm looking to take it further.

Here is an interview Bob Karon did about his time studying with Jacobs. He does skype lessons so you might reach out to him. Bob is a great musician and a just a great guy as you can probably tell from the interview.

If you're ever in Chicago, get a lesson with Stephen Burns.

Roger Rocco studied with Mr. Jacobs for many years. He played extra with him in the Chicago Symphony. He has internalized the Masters concepts.

His website is an homage to Arnold Jacobs and the Chicago style of brass playing. His website is

www.rogerrocco.net

His contact information is there. He does do Skype lessons.

Mark Ridenour of CSO was highly influenced by Herseth and is a strict Chicago player if I am not mistaken. The current Trumpet professor at Chicago's Northwestern University uses a different technique than the Chicago school if I've heard it right.
