I allow international shipping. My website is unfortunately not
allowing this, but shoot me an e-mail to the address mentioned
on the upper left on the frontpage and we could sort out something.
At the moment I am sold out, but have both satin lacquer and satin silver on order _________________ Nordlands

Doug Teeter is the USA Carol Brass rep. He lives in Fresno CA.
dteeter5491@att.net is his email address. He frequently has C B accessories listed on eBay under the moniker of teeters trumpets. _________________ Have horn, will travel! |

I've got several trim kits that will fit carol brass threads, one a Harrelson kit and others from the NYTC days. They are on eBay but if you want more info send me an email at miles71@comcast.net

They declined to ship CarolBrass products to me in the USA; they recommended a dealer in the USA instead. _________________ '75 Bach Strad 180ML/37

A fewyears ago I bought a Carol Brass flugel from these folks in Arizona who are a dealer. Perhaps they can help:
www.xstreammouthpieces.com
Another option may be California Music Supply. They list a lot of trumpets on eBay.

Hi all,
I bought a set from BrassNor and they arrived today and I have just put them on my Carol C Trumpet 4000H-YSS and I have to say, they seem to make a HUGE difference to me. I was finding I had two big problems with this C trumpet which was that the slots were mushy - They didn't feel like they had a very discernible centre, especially on the lower end - and the response didn't seem great. I would get quite a few missed notes and airballs etc at softer dynamics where I'm used to being able to just gently blow and get sound. So that was disappointing.
But adding the trim kit really seems to have helped a lot! The horn seems to slot with much much more stability and responds better. My perception is that the sound projects more, and has a richer/darker timbre/more weight to the sound.
So all in all, a very worthwhile upgrade. I really like this C trumpet now and might actually play it more! |

I got a full CarolBrass heavy kit for my CarolBr.....er, Manchester, er.....😉.
Honestly, I got it for a very good price, and sort of expected not to really like it; I thought it might tighten the horn too much for my taste, and take the edge off my tone. To my surprise, it did none of that. It made a subtle difference, and that was it seemed to kind of stabilize the horn and help projection a bit, and it didn't make the upper register at all tight or stuffy. For me it was a nice affordable improvement, easily reversible if I didn't like it. In fact, I have found myself using this "back up" horn for more gigs than I thought I would, not just the ones in "questionable establishments."

They're a CarolBrass dealer in Pennsylvania, they sell CarolBrass parts and accessories, and Curtis Palmer provides fine customer service. _________________ '75 Bach Strad 180ML/37
