It seems Jim New is not set up yet to be able to scan/duplicate mouthpieces. What are some other options for having this done? _________________ "Music is like candy, you throw the (w)rappers away." |

Have you heard much from Greg since he left NJ?
He was the go to guy for tons of NYC area guys. I wonder how he's doing down in NC. I know custom work isn't the bread and butter...and probably a big hassle.
I hope he's doing well. Great guy, great skills. |

On a related question, I'm trying to get some background information on this mysterious mouthpiece I'm wanting to copy.
It's labeled as a Schilke, but the engraving on the cup says "SCHILKE S5 *"
Nothing on the Schilke websites hints at such a thing, and they are telling me they've never heard of any S5 model(s) before.
It's hard to know just how old it is, so I thought maybe some long-time Schilke loyalists might have some information about it. _________________ "Music is like candy, you throw the (w)rappers away." |

It may be worth contacting Karl Hammond as he was The custom guy at Schilke for many years. He does amazing work and is a super nice guy as well. |
