Aebersold now sells the books without the CDs for those that download the tracks from iTunes. Go to jazzbooks.com

I did purchase the book. But I would like it on my tablet so I will scan it in and put the book on my shelf. It is more convenient for me in pdf form. I was just searching for a place to buy it in that format.

That would be convenient for many people. I am sure they are working on it with so many using that format now.

I talked to Jamey and Jason Lindsey about it. The short answer is that they are working on it and you should see some of their play-a-longs in PDF format soon.

The first ones will be those that have original materials that Jamey created. The rest are subject to royalties and they are working to get the proper agreements in place to allow the books to be published as PDFs.

Neither Jamey nor Jason offered an expected date other than "soon."
