What a fantastic album.
I was just listening Art's version of "I Love You" off his classic "Modern Art" album last night. Just super tasty the whole way through. I never studied his trumpet playing much, but I think I'm going to have to change that. _________________ Yamaha 8310Z trumpet

Have been listening to Masterpiece again a lot lately, the great album by Tito Puente and Eddie Palmieri. Talk about sick trumpet playing. these guys just tear it to pieces !!!

First of all, I am new to Trumpet Herald and am looking forward to participating in the various discussion rooms.
I recently discovered a marvelous young British trumpet player named Louis Dowdeswell, who has played and recorded alongside Wayne Bergeron. What a gorgeous sound and impressive range!

Philip Catherine Trio (with Tom Harrell), Moods Vol. 2. Beautiful compositions, and Tom Harrell sounds utterly amazing. A must-listen. I daresay I think it's the best I've ever heard him sound. _________________ Yamaha 8310Z trumpet

M. F. One was on the platter tonight. I must have played L-Dopa four or five times before going to bed.

Standard Time Vol. 3 by Wynton Marsalis. Absolutely love it. His dad Ellis' piano playing is incredible. The song Everything Happens To Me is probably my favorite. It's stylistically wonderful. Along with The Seductress (some of the best plunger work out there), this album rocks!
