I'd rather not give %20 of my earnings to a middleman.

There is no reason for it when I can contact the cruise ship people directly.

On a more casual level I just thought I would get a dialogue started with some cats who may be doing it already and know of a specific boat and date. Like Carnival Spirit Dec. 15, etc.

Thank you though.

As a side note I have often wondered why they just don't call that the proship tab instead of jobs tab on trumpetherald.

check out Mike Moloney.

I did 4 or 5 contracts over a 5 year period. Last time I went out was 2010.
They never took a commission back then. I have no idea if they do now.
They used to book most of Norwegian's Fleet and I heard they were also booking for Celebrity and Princess.

cool man - thanks for the tip. I never have dug into Proship. Some take SO much money though.

I'll research this group a bit that you linked to.

Facebook used to be how I networked with old friends from the boats I was on but I canceled Facebook.

09 was my last outing.

I agree. Been coming here for years and proship's all I've ever seen on there

C'mon guys, it's not like Todd (the sysadmin) spends all his time trying to attract folk to post jobs. It's available to anyone on TH who wants to add a job just by contacting him (username trumpetherald). As usual, you are welcome to add to it, or start your own jobs board. TH revolves primarily around the Fora and to some extent the Marketplace but it is what we make it.

Hey Don,

I'm not whining by stating the obvious.

I also wouldn't be asking about jobs.....if I had jobs to post.

I'll stop there.
