Yeah, fugly indeed. But nothing resonates like a WWII German Iron Cross??

I think I saw ANOTHER one of these for sale somewhere, I think it's a Taylor trumpet.

Dude has some chops. Funky arrangement, good sounding band.

By the diversity (lol) of his band, I assume this is an Eastern European based group?

Tight band. Well balanced. Restraint in the solos. The way it should be done. Much thanks for posting that.

That's one crazy looking horn!

And Mr. Ferguson is very young there; it must be a recording from his early days. Neat to see this archival material.

Great playing, all around! Very interesting arrangement-who knew "Give It One" would actually make for a cool funk tune?

[quote="agolden"]I think this is nothing but cheese

His head bopping, and looks of approval to the guys in the band make it for me...and the chick none players.

Reminds me of an 80s video from MTV with the girl guitar players, just holding the instruments and dancing ala Robert Palmer "Simply Irresistible "

Actually I didn't pay any attention whatsoever to the VIDEO portion of this....LISTENING to it, and trying to come at it not from the perspective of comparing it to Maynard's version, I thought it was actually kind of cool to listen to it without the Higher, Faster, Louder component. But then again I never was much of a Maynard fan to start with (can I still be a member here?). But what do I know? All my taste is pretty much in my mouth

This one is pretty slick as well. Even though some of those trumpets look like they are made from Spacley Sprockets and Play-doh

But he is a great player and the music is a blast

That's cool! There's one horn in there that looks like the guys from American Chopper might have built it.....

I think this video was referenced in a topic thread a year or two ago. Great to see and hear it again. Love the arrangement and the guy's a Player.
