Dear Trumpet-Herald Friends!

I am writing to let you all know that The University of Arizona, Fred Fox School of Music is now accepting applications. We have a wonderful fellowship opportunity for one student in our fully endowed FFGBQ (Fred Fox Graduate Brass Quintet). One Vacancy.

In addition we have extensive funding through both the Fred Fox School and the University of Arizona. (especially for undergraduate applicants, with a GPA over 3.0!).

The University of Arizona is a top 20 research institution, and has an incredible campus in beautiful Tucson. (The mountains are incredible, and even have snow currently, while the weather is sill in the low 70’s)

I would encourage you to check out our studio video, which will give you an idea of some of the activities that go on at U of A.

Students in our studio receive;

• Trumpet Ensemble Coaching
• Weekly Lessons
• Brass Seminars with all 4 of your wonderful brass professors
• Group Warm-up Class to address fundamentals and Routines
• And 1 on 1 warm-up sessions with me.
• Opportunity for Orchestra, Wind Ensemble, and Jazz Ensemble Experience
