Not sure where to place this, but wanted to let those of you know who might know or remember Mike McGovern....Mike passed earlier in the week..pancreatic cancer. Currently, arrangements are set for the 18th, from what I've been told.

Very sad to hear about Mike. I've purchased two horns from Mike, the earliest was last year. Very sad.

Hi

Thank you very much for letting us know. I am very sad to hear this and had no idea that he was ill. He will be very missed.

Best wishes

Lou

How sad. Although I only spoke to Mike on the phone about 7 years ago, we had a wonderful conversation. I had just sold him an older Benge 3X+ which he loved. He was one of the most knowledgeable persons about trumpets and Godzilla movies that I'd ever met.
RIP Mike...you were a great trumpet player and brilliant articulate conversationalist.
