Botti at first i kind of overlooked him as just another smooth jazz artist. wrong. just a great trumpeter and his show was fairly amazing. he had a black female vocalist who was just amazing....hit some minnie riperton type notes. had a 13 yo student come up out of audience to play drums who was not a drummer. told interesting stories about being called to play at whitehouse with herbie. had a female violinist from Bocelli's band wreak havok with some zeppelin. the level of musicians was the highest. impressive show.[/youtube]

Glad it was a good show. I thought about going but I didn't find out until the last minute. Great artist.

if botti comes to town don't miss his show. had many moving moments.
i think he forces the more commercial aspects and is probably more drawn to
straight ahead. he is in my opinion striking a great balance. very polished performer.
