The movie is titled,

"The Gauntlet" and stars,

Clint Eastwood with Sondra Locke. The trumpet solo occurs near the beginning of the film. I believe was played by Jon Faddis. As I recall its a monster solo but can't seem to find it. Thanks in advance for your help!

Oh man! Yeah.. Jerry Fielding is a GREAT composer.. Faddis and Pepper..so sweet! You really gotta see the whole flick to hear all the good stuff.. While you’re at it, see what 70’s soundtracks you can pick up from Lalo Schiffrin in the 70’s.. Exceptionally good ones: Dirty Harry, Rollercoaster, Kelly’s Heroes, Music from Mission Impossible. All awesome movies..at least IMO;-)
