It's a very interesting C trumpet, not least of which is the tuning 1st slide.
In the old days, 3rd slides were not tuning, although it appears that this trumpet could have had a third slide ring to throw it. Calicchio trumpets from the 1930's had the same tuneable first slide arrangement. A blast from the past. _________________ "Strive for tone." -John Coppola
