Last July I played at the Port of Rotterdam North Sea Jazz Festival with my band Braskiri. This is a video of one of the songs we did. Enjoy!

The title is of course a little mix up of Miles's 'The man with the horn' and literally NOT the man with the horn referring to Avishai Cohen the bass player. He was the first Avishai I heard, and I was totally into his music when I wrote this song, later I discovered that there was also an Avishai WITH a horn, haha!

Yeah, I love the tuba, too. It gives a whole different range of possibilities. You can play duets that sound really together, much more than with a double bass, and the accompaniment is really clear and down to earth. For me it makes playing much easier. I have to say I am particularly pleased with this tuba player, he has a beautiful singing tone, but he can also swing and play pretty heavy lines throughout a two set concert. No stopping him!
