I have quite a few (I've become enamored with Latino music of late...). Anyway, here's a short list:
Ran-Kan-Kan (Tito Puente)
Oye Como Va (Tito Puente)
Se Formo la Rumba (Spanish Harlem Orchestra)
Eleggua (Dayme Arocena)
Mambo Na Ma (Dayme Arocena)
Madres (Dayme Arocena)
Maraca's Tumbao (Maraca)

Just thought of another I've been working on learning as an ear tune:
Mambo Jazz Plaza (Maraca)

This is my favorite Jobim song ever...probably my favorite samba, and on my top ten all time songs ever.

I like this version best:

I agree with your second statement but disagree with the first. It doesn't help that Jobim wasn't THAT great of a singer.
