Who of you can play this, at this tempo, which is about 125 bpm? I'm struggling at 110 myself.

Not Seahawk but Wake of the Red Witch a couple of times. Swashbuckling music requires some quick skills, from tempi changes to dynamics. Korngold is a blast, IMO.

I suggest you try to shorten your tongue stoke and lighten up. Have fun.

Anything programatic, and particularly nautical can be a challenge due to the nature of the sea. Ever played La Mer?

I did Return of the Dawn Treader (Meyer) with my Jr High band years ago, similar in nature. Lots of flashes and crashing waves, etc. Good stuff, causes one to think and use imagination as a performer and conductor.
