I am lucky enough to play in a few different churches on a fairly regular basis. I am always looking for new repertoire to play. Some of my favorites:
The Wedding Collection (Chuck Seipp)
Sonata in D (Purcell)
Suite in D (Handel)
The Girl with the Flaxen Hair (Debussy/Romm)
Prayer of St. Gregory (Hovhaness)
The Old Castle (Mussorgsky/Stephenson)
Great Hymns (Phil Smith collection)
Piano and organ are available. Anyone have any suggestions for new pieces for me to check out?

That's a nice list.
I suggest Sarabande, from Bach Cello Suite 2. It's unaccompanied. Jay Lichtmann has an arrangement on his website. You might like some of the other tunes he posted.
Alison Balsom recorded it on her Bach album. Her arrangement is slightly different than the Lichtmann arrangement, but you might be able to figure out some of the cello-like embellishments in her arrangement if you like. _________________ Bb Yamaha Xeno 8335IIS

Phil Smith has a second 'Great Hymns' collection. When I ordered mine it came in a hand addressed envelope, and was autographed!
The second movement of the Hansen Sonata works well. It is out of copyright: http://bit.ly/2m45m02
Gounod's Ave Maria is always reliable.
I've also done Bach's 'Jesu Joy' and 'Wachtet Auf' |

There are the various books by Wallace-Head (several wedding and a couple for Christmas and Easter), the several Phil Smith/Curnow arrangements (couple of ones with hymns plus one or two with Christmas carols), and a number of books by folk like Stan Pethel, Douglas Smith, and (?) Snell for various instruments with piano/organ accompaniment. Along with a myriad of descant books, natch. I have a pile of them at home... _________________ "After silence, that which best expresses the inexpressible, is music" - Aldous Huxley |

Here's another suggestion...
I recently played Saint Saens second 'Ave Maria' for a prelude and it was well received. Its not a well-know piece. I played the soprano line on a C trumpet; you could also transpose it.
Music is available on IMSLP : Ave_Maria_in_A_major_(1865)_(Saint-Saens,_Camille)
