I love your Latin sound, Rick. I can almost picture Carlos Santana and his guitar standing beside you.

Here is a little Cumbia entitled "El Cablé", taking me back to my roots growing up in South Tucson. Thank you for listening.

Here is another one of my songs, a tribute to the many ballrooms I played at in my youth in Tucson, AZ. It'a a Mexican Polka, but sorta on steroids….. I hope you like it. Thank You.

I am 80 years old, Rick, but your music makes me feel like a kid and I just want to get up and dance.

Great stuff, man !

Here is a new tune I put together and recorded on Soundcloud from home since changing over to a Yamaha 8310Z from Benge Trumpets (I still own several, and use from time to time)… Slightly different mouthpiece too from my custom Schilke that was originally made by Scott Laskey while he was still at Schilke… Trent Austin of ACB made me a copy of this in his "Modern" blank, gold plated, he also opened up the backbore slightly. I'm not sure I'm totally quite used to the gold plating, it's taking me an awful long time to feel confident with it, don't seem to be as accurate either, as you will hear, if you compare to the similar tune I posted entitled "Caminando Por Las Calles" posted earlier. I do most of the playing at about middle to the end of the tune btw. Either way, I hope you enjoy the tune, as I've mentioned before, I do this for fun, so it's not a perfect recording. Please feel free to leave comments, especially on my SoundCloud site. Thanks! Rick

Rick, thanks for sharing. I am loving the sound of your trumpet playing.

Warm regards,
