Is it true that multiple tonguing is the skill that needs to be kept up with the most? I.e. is that the skill that deteriorates most quickly? Is this jive? Please advise. _________________ Life takes guts. |

I don't think it is. Range-endurance is easily the area that suffers most without regular maintenance. _________________ "I'm an engineer, which means I think I know a whole bunch of stuff I really don't."

All players have skills that deteriorate faster than others. For me, YES multiple tonguing slips away after a few days. For you, maybe it is range or endurance or transposition. It all depends on the individual. Check Ray Mase on Brass Chats via Youtube. He has some good thougts on this discussion. |
