Hi Jabroni
I have an equivalent experience in having the main tuning slide of my Xeno cornet out 2cm compared to around 3/4cm to 1cm on all my other instruments. I've however not having significant intonation issues with the slide pulled out 2cm, although admittedly I have always felt that my Xeno cornet has slightly worse intonation than my other instruments.
All the best

Congrats! What division did you guys play in? We didn't place but it was an absolute blast. Personally I would try a Wick _________________ a few different ones |

Hi! We were in the 10 piece category. We came down from Canada and traveled with the Weston Band who won first place in the first category.
