Hello all,
I'm trying to find any songs from Hamilton transcribed for trumpet. I've seen the full score, and songs for piano and wondered if you can just use the melody and play the part on the trumpet or if that's just not done? My daughter dearly loves it and will probably try to just play it by ear, but would love to get her the sheet music if anyone's seen it.
It looks like I might have more luck with In the Heights which would work also - not because she's going to be in a musical or anything, just because it would inspire her to play.

Musicnotes.com allows you to buy individual songs and to transpose them. Unfortunately transposing up a step is not an option. Besides, at around $5 per tune, buying all the songs would be pretty costly.
MuseScore also has a bunch of the songs. I'm less familiar with that site but it looks like you can transpose as needed.
