Hi Trumpet Players! I was once one of you! Just for your information, when I cleaned out my parents' garage in California several years ago, I found several hundred copies of my father's technical studies book. I am happy to say it is now available on www.alessipublications.com Skew # ALPUB90 Thanks! Joe Alessi

For anyone not familiar with Alessi's "Technical Studies," it is a great set of studies in the tradition of Schlossberg's "Daily Drills and Technical Studies" and Vacchiano's studies and routines.

The book is 93 pages long, and the pages are large. Most of the studies top off at the D above the staff, though they could be continued upward as desired.

I don't see it as a high range development book, per se; more of a great set of studies for all-around development. Well worth considering.

Have you considered the possibility of offering a digital version for purchase and download from qPress or another site? It's a great book.

I have a copy and have used it for decades. Would love a PDF version for my iPad. Terrific exercises.
