United States Army Band "Pershing's Own" Openings

We are currently accepting applications for two positions in The U.S. Army Band "Pershing's Own." One is in the Concert Band and the other is in the Ceremonial Band. As a member of the band I must admit that I'm biased, but I can't begin to communicate what sweet gigs these are. They offer great pay and benefits in an area of the country with a vibrant music and arts scene and a very high quality of life.

Applications including a short recording are due August 8.
Audition will be held September 25.

I've lived and worked as a musical professional in the D.C. area twice and can second enthusiastically Kelly's post. Great work and a great place to live. Go for it!
