Hello TrumpetHerald,
Does anyone know of any brass quintet literature that has Latin influence? We're trying to put together a concert/lecture with all Latin influenced music and are having some trouble filling out the program.
Thanks for any suggestions! |

The third link I posted (in my previous post) is a brass quintet arrangement of a Peruvian inspired tune (originally a MIDI file) entitled "Andean" by Ignacio Calvo.
I also did a trumpet quintet arrangement of it a while back. Here is a link to a flash micro-site I built way back when (when flash was still being used!). Since it is flash based the site will not work on iPhones or iPads:
http://www.wwjdo.com/_sites/tpt_ensemble/andean/andean.html
With this link you will at least be able to hear how the piece sounds. I like the tune and think my brass arrangements of it work well. _________________ In his retirement he had become that most dreaded of former athletes, the one who always remembered how much harder it was in his day "when ships were made of wood and men were made of steel."
