|
|
Hi,
I have recently got an old Couesnon Flugelhorn with a "C" mark on the bell.
I don't have much experience on flugelhorns but
it looks smaller than my previous Olds L-12 flugelhorn.
Since it did not come with a case, I am looking for one.
But, I am not sure which one I need to choose.
Would you please let me know any information or your experience?
Sorry for this seemingly stupid question.
But, I cannot find a "Couesnon" case from the web but
I still believe there should be other cases okay for Couesnon.
(I prefer a hard case.)
Sincerely,
TH |

My Walt Johnson tpt/flg case was made for a YFL631 and it held my Couesnon just fine. Ergo, a Yamaha case should work. My buddy usees a Protec Mike Vax case and it holds his Queenie, and his WT trumpet. |

Thank you for the inputs, Ed Kennedy and Sturmbill.
I believe I can find some of those from Ebay. |

I use a Reunion Blues Continental for my flugel, which I think is similar in size to your horn. Not QUITE a hard case, but fairly protective and roomy. And because it does not have an exact cut-out inside for the horn, it's fairly "universal" but still holds the horn in place well. I would not check it (or most ANY case) on a flight, but it's pretty protective.
