I love the idea of these cases, but can't seem to find out where to purchase them. Anyone have ideas?
I've seen a few quad black ones, but not any other colors.
Also, I've heard that the Stomvi cases are fairly close, does anyone have experience with these?
Thanks in advance! _________________ Friends don't let friends clap on one and three.... |

The Horn Guys website carries their cases. They stock black, dark grey, and red. You can also special order other colors from them (same price and everything, but will take longer to deliver to you). I haven't used them before but I've also been considering their double case. |

The Stomvi is good, but FYI it scuffs easily, and the inside padding is a little... cheap. _________________ Andrew Harms, DMA

They are the exact same case. (the Bags from Spain and Stomvi) I have the quad from Bags from Spain and have travelled internationally with that for probably 4 years now. The case just did a trip to Germany and back without a problem (lent it to a friend of mine). Mine was the early version so the stitching was coming off as soon as I got it but they have since fixed the problem. I have had it fit in the smallest planes without any problem. One time Jetblue tossed my case underneath and for some reason the gate check turned into baggage coming out from conveyor belt but it only got scratched and all my horns were fine.
Bottom line - I believe it's the smallest and strongest case to be able to fit 4 Bbs. _________________ Victor

Well, I've had three of these (various shapes) and I've had no issues or disappointments at all. _________________ "If you don't live it, it won't come out of your horn." Bird

I use them for many years, the single with mutes compartment is very good and takes a tone of stuff but one of my mates from Athens big band use one and one day he felt down on the bag and he crush his Van laar bell , since then I get a walt Johnson single and a Torpedo peacemaker.

i purchased a Bags of Spain quad case from The Horn Guys. The exterior was well constructed and seemed like it would be fairly protective -- though not in par with a Torpedo Bag or a Marcus Bonna case -- but the horns are squeezed so tightly together inside the case that I was sure the bells and leadpipes would bang together if the case was bumped. I returned it and The Horn Guys refunded me. |

Best, Jon |
FYI I have had this case for 3+ years, traveled with it literally dozens (maybe close to 100) of times on planes, on the bus underneath for road tours, and it's been perfect every time. Most versatile case on the market and fits my instrumentation (my Bb, my coppernicus double shep crook trumpet), and a flugelhorn great! Laptop bag holds my laptop, mpcs, oil, cleaning products, and more...
One of the best cases, especially when you toss the original backpack straps and put on the Torpedo Backpack straps...
YMMV,
